Overview
Porsopher Barber is a walk-in friendly shop at 327a Kennington Road in London. Most visitors arrive on a phone, often nearby, wanting the price, whether the shop is open, and the quickest way to get a chair.
Challenge & goals
Small business sites often bury prices and hours under a long homepage, and booking sits behind several steps. The goal was a page where the essentials sit on the first screen and booking any service is one tap from its price.
- Prices, hours, location, and booking visible without hunting
- Online booking that still makes clear walk-ins are welcome
- House rules for payment, cancellations, and lateness stated plainly
Delivery approach
We wrote the page in the order a passer-by thinks: is it open, what does it cost, where is it, can I book. Each price links to that service's booking calendar, and a fixed action bar keeps Book, Call, and Directions within reach on mobile.
Engineering highlights
Opening status driven by the shop's hours, per-service booking links, a fixed mobile action bar, and a gallery of real cuts linking to Instagram and YouTube.
Outcomes
A fast, honest page for a local shop: visitors can see the price, check it's open, and book or get directions within seconds.
