Overview
British Private Tours gives each group its own guide and vehicle for the day. Many guests arrive by cruise ship with a fixed window ashore, so the site has to help them pick destinations quickly, see what fits into one day, and send an enquiry the team can quote.
Challenge & goals
With more than forty destinations and no fixed prices, the risk was a long list that left visitors unsure where to start. Guests needed help combining stops into a realistic day, and cruise passengers needed transfers presented as clearly as the tours.
- A destination catalogue that is easy to browse and strong in search
- Ready-made itineraries that show which stops work well together
- One consistent route from any destination or itinerary to an enquiry
Delivery approach
We split the offer into destinations, signature itineraries, transfers, and packages, so each visitor can enter from the question they already have. Itineraries are written for the guest they suit, such as a full day in port, rather than as a list of stops.
Engineering highlights
A destination model where each place has its own page, region, and category, plus itinerary pages that combine destinations. Tiers, FAQs, reviews, and WhatsApp contact are shared across pages so every entry point ends in the same enquiry flow.
Outcomes
A catalogue that scales as destinations are added, clearer day planning for cruise and land guests, and a single enquiry path across tours, itineraries, and transfers.
